Baldrige Examiner Training

Facilitator        :

Bachtiar Simamora, M.Sc, Ph.D. President director of PT.WEDNet Indonesia, first Baldrige Examiner and  an original Certified Baldrige Examiner from MBNQA, NIST, USA. He start his career as researcher at National Institute of Sciences of Indonesia in 1985, and upon his completion of Masters and PhD from the USA, he joined Bandung Graduate School of Management (STMB) Bandung as Senior Lecture and Management Partner. He also served as Dept. Head of School of Telecommunication Engineering (STTTelkom) before he concentrates on consulting work that focus on implementation of Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence. He has conducted many Baldrige Training including several batches of Examiner Training in Cooperation with TQI Inc. USA. He has also conducted several Baldrige Executive Briefing and seminar. In April 2004, he is one of the speaker at National Executive Seminar on Baldrige Criteria attended by more than 200s top management of  State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN). He serves as Examiner member to Telkom in 2001 and Team Leader Examiner in 2002 and 2003. He also provides implementation and improvement consultancy to organization for design, preparation, implementation and improvement using Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence. Just recently, he worked with USAID project at The Supreme Audit Institution of Republik of Indonesia ( BPK RI) to introduce Baldrige Criteria as a management framework to be used to transform and improve overall BPK's performance.
